After some delay the there's finally also an album released from Enigmatical
& Misto Soon. 'A Miniature
Of Bigger Things', an 8 piece recording present the work of the
two artists together with an ensemble of some very talented musicans.
This is an amalgamation of jazz & rap with some real progressive
interplay. A forging of ideas. Take notion. The material took some
time to complete and is a statement of it's own.
"This
record release out called “A Miniature Of Bigger Things”
is the result of a long time collaboration project between
me Enigmatical & rapper Misto Soon. We had this idea when
starting off about an album that combine and interweave the
sound of live uncompromising jazz with our expression of beats
& rap. A meeting took place with the musicians Joel Wästberg,
Thomas Jansson & Edvin Edvinsson in Gothenburg during
an intensive period of recordings. The music and playing came
out spontaneous with only some rough beat & sample material
for structure. Arrangements developed out of the individual
need for room to start-play&end improvisations & takes.
As a result the songs are pretty long, without so much focus
on sections and choruses, but more on interactions, themes

Two new releases on CD where the first one is 'Exercises
in beat tradition Vol. 1 & 2'. An instrumental journey through
the previously unpublished Enigmatical beat catalogue. All
sample based compositions from the period 2003-2008. The art of building
collages by layering sounds is being explored. The character can be
described as a melting pot of breakbeats & expressive jazz fragments,
through a traditional, yet original, beat-perspective.

Ameba entitled 'Once Said'. 14 tracks from the period 2004-2009 for
your enjoyment. The song 'Delivered To The World' feature raps from
Nadasdi & Iwere. There's also a remix version of 'Just Another
Page Of A Daydreamer's Diary' with sampels from Enigmatical. You can

FUTURE PAST:
As we enter the new year with hopes for the future there's always
a bit of looking back in retrospect aswell. Wenod compiled a set of
artists/labels to let us know what was somewhat the album highlights
of 2008. Among them we find Smea
(TE Records) who give us his top 5 & some shouts. From #-Z, here's
the
list. Lot's of good contributions & tips..
2009 will bring new material from Out of the blue crew artists 4 sure.

out now on the Briefcase Rockers Ltd imprint B.E.A.R.
The album is called 'Only Vultures Are Able 2 Eat Dead Food'. It's
a critical and poetic outview on society with an electronically sharp
sound. Sometimes melodic, sometimes industrial raw. Guest appearances
from Gel Roc, Kayla Lamar, Fabsoul & Porter. It's a DIGITAL free
release available through the label/crev.

AUDIO:
Check out Prosperous latest output with Pelpa Karnaval on myspace.
The group is called Ortho
Acusto and is scheduled for an album in the near future. They've
already hooked up with B.E.A.R.
for some back-up so don't hesitate to look up this new group.
We've also added a few tunes to the AUDIO-section
in the archive. Tracks are taken from various CD-r's produced in the
past.
